One Lane Home is a real estate development company. Our approach is to find distressed properties, remodel, and either resell or retain the property for rental purposes.

And the formula is simple. We remodel homes to a state where we would be comfortable living in it ourselves. The focus is on structure and systems, making sure the home is safe and reliable. Then, we introduce the types of design upgrades that make it a must have.

We do this efficiently with our own in-house team to procure and remodel, as well as an extensive network of professional contractors for trade and other specialized work.

Al is a General Contractor, owner of Serra Fina Remodeling and OneLane Home.

He’s an accomplished project manager with a proven process improvement record.

Prior to establishing Serra Fina and One Lane Home, Al had a successful 23-year career at UPS. While at UPS, he led globally deployed teams of employees and contractors managing projects for engineering, operations, marketing, safety, workforce planning and compliance. This experience earned him an assignment as a Global Leadership College Facilitator, mentoring and sharing best practices with new management employees.

Al brings formal education in mathematics, statistics, and industrial organizational psychology. His work assignments in Belgium, Mexico and Singapore gives him a multicultural awareness to decision making. Al is fluent Portuguese and conversational in Spanish, has a Six Sigma Green Belt and is finishing up his training to become a Professional Home Inspector licensed with the Texas Real Estate Commission (anticipated completion in Q2 2022).
